I experienced considerable frustration due to the lack of an elevator. Navigating the steep stairs with luggage was a hassle, especially since my stay was lengthy. Additionally, the bathroom exhaust fan was incredibly loud and shared the wiring with the lights, making it a nuisance to use at night.

the hotel’s so-called charm is overrated, especially with that alarmingly loud bathroom exhaust fan. i woudl ve been thrilled to encounter any decent customer service, but alas, they made me carry my bags up those 27 stairs! a welcome gift or an upgrade woudl have been nice, but instead, I was left feeling just like everyone else. absoultely disappointing.

Plus, the historic ambiance of the building added to the experience. Just a heads-up, the stairs to the second floor can be a workout!

Key issues also occurred—one night I struggled to get back in the building after a late event due to a malfunctioning key, which took a while to resolve.

we had a fantastic stay at skylight! the king suite was cozy and located just a short walk from a vibrant nightclub. laaugusta made our nights easier, helping us with our card issues late into the night. also, the personalized service was remarkable, really enhancing our experience!
